At Habitat for Humanity, we partner with families to build strength, stability, and brighter futures through the power of homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties is a donor-driven, volunteer-powered organization committed to creating lasting social impact. We work tirelessly to make homeownership a reality for those striving toward that dream while addressing the critical need for affordable housing in our community.

Through modern construction methods and strategic resource consolidation, we maximize our impact across the entire region, allowing for multiple builds that provide practical solutions to today’s housing crisis. Our efforts are guided by financial stewardship, lean staffing, and a passion for empowering families.

Homeownership with Habitat is a partnership. Families who meet specific criteria, including demonstrated need and the ability to meet financial and maintenance obligations, are welcomed into our program. Participants also engage in financial literacy education and contribute sweat equity, ensuring they are prepared for the responsibilities of owning a home.

Whether through donating, volunteering, or advocating for affordable housing, your support makes a difference. Together, we can build hope and strengthen communities—one home at a time.

Our Mission:

To bring people together to build communities, homes and hope.

Our Vision:

Is to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Whom We Serve

Our homebuyers are hardworking local families, with low to moderate incomes, who are committed to achieving the dream of homeownership. Our participants are selected based on their need for safe housing, financial stability, and willingness to partner with us by completing “sweat equity” hours, helping to build their own homes or those of their neighbors.

How We Work

We are a non-profit charitable organization, working with government agencies, municipalities, and corporate and individual philanthropic donors to offer hard-working local families a bridge to homeownership while building equity, financial stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership and financial education.

Why it Matters

More decent, affordable housing is needed in Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties. There is a housing crisis eroding our area and Habitat for Humanity NSWWC homes give families a path towards financial stability while remaining within their home communities.
