Habitat partners with families earning 50-80% of the area median income (AMI) to provide a pathway to affordable homeownership. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate:
- A need for housing due to unsafe, overcrowded, or unaffordable living conditions.
- The ability to pay an affordable mortgage with a steady income and financial readiness.
- A willingness to partner by contributing sweat equity hours and participating in educational classes to prepare for the responsibilities of owning a home.
